SJ Gem & Diamond was built on a simple belief: buying a diamond or gemstone should feel like an education, not a transaction.
Where We Started
SJ Gem & Diamond began in Pune & Mumbai, Maharashtra, India with a straightforward premise — that clients deserve to understand exactly what they're buying, from the cut of a diamond to the provenance of a colored stone. That meant investing early in certification, in patient explanation over hard selling, and in relationships that outlast a single purchase.
Our founder's parallel practice in Vedic astrology, Orbs Astro, shaped an unusual but natural specialty: gemstone guidance rooted in tradition, offered alongside — never instead of — rigorous grading and certification. The result is a house that speaks two languages fluently: the modern language of the 4Cs, and the older one of Rashi and Ratna.
Today, that same philosophy shapes everything from our loose certified diamonds to our custom design process — considered, transparent, and built for pieces that are meant to be passed down.
